London Ontario Canada is well known as "The Forest City" and is full of beautiful trees all around the city. London and the Thames were named in 1793 by Lord Simcoe, who proposed the site for the capital of Upper Canada. The first European settlement was between 1801 and 1804 and the village was founded in 1826 and incorporated in 1855. Since that time, London has grown to be the largest Southwestern Ontario municipality, and Canada's 11th largest municipality.

London has much to offer it's residents with well known and vibrate musical and arts festivals throughout the year. London Ontario is also a large economic hub for the Health sector, education sectors, insurance sector and Information technology sector. London is the home of Western University, Fanshawe Community College and more. University hospital and the London Health Sciences Centre are well respected institutions in Canada.

London is also home of the London Knights Hockey Club. The London Knights Hockey Club is owned and operated by former NHLers Mark and Dale Hunter and Basil McRae. The team plays and operates out of Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario and plays in the Midwest Division of the Western Conference in the Ontario Hockey League. Notable London Knights alumni include: Darryl Sittler, Dino Ciccarelli, Brendan Shannahan, Brad Marsh, Rick Nash and Corey Perry.

London is located just about midway between Toronto and Windsor / Detroit, London's has a growing population and it is an ideal place to raise a family. London is not as big as Toronto but not as small as most rural areas in South Western Ontario.
